Upland Entry Level Stewardship (UELS) up to £62/ha

Uplands Entry Level Stewardship (UELS) is a new strand to Environmental Stewardship offering a replacement to the former Hill Farm Allowance. UELS, like ELS is a points based scheme rewarding farmers and land managers for undertaking specific management practices, however it offers a higher payment rate to reflect the difficulties faced with farming in Severely Disadvantaged Areas.
